About the job

In Switzerland, around 19,000 prisoners are transferred each year to another correctional facility, to a court hearing, for deportation, etc.
Are you looking for a new professional challenge? To support the team, we are looking for a motivated employee.

What you can achieve:

The main task is to transfer incarcerated persons from various destinations in Central Switzerland to Zurich and the surrounding area
The prisoners are transported in a suitable vehicle
As you will be on the road all day with a large vehicle in sometimes heavy traffic, a high level of reliability, self-discipline and concentration is expected of you
You will be trained in transport service, JTS concept, detention coordination, self-protection, forms, effects, handcuffs, hostage release, service vehicle and behaviour in road traffic

What you bring:

Completed vocational training or equivalent education
Impeccable character (check of debt enforcement register and criminal record as well as certificate of legal capacity)
Swiss citizen or permit C or EU/EFTA B
Very good German skills, spoken and written
Punctual, reliable and you have high social skills
In good physical condition
Holder of a category B driving licence with at least 1 year of driving experience
Strong communication skills, you enjoy working in a team and handle challenging situations confidently
Willingness to obtain OD1 qualification
You always behave correctly in road traffic and feel confident handling large vehicles
