As part of strong growth, we are looking for interested individuals as DevOps and/or Cloud Engineer.
Working model: hybrid – 1-2 days in the office, up to 3 days remote. Full-time or part-time possible.
Job Description
The position:
You will expand and improve existing products or develop new, innovative solutions for diverse customers from the banking, retail or government sectors.

Responsibilities:
• Together with the team, you support development projects in the areas of infrastructure, tools and deployment management.
• You carry out engineering activities to introduce new tools and technologies along DevOps principles in the cloud or on-premises.
• You establish operational and maintenance processes based on DevOps principles. You manage and operate the IT infrastructure and applications either on-premises or in a cloud.
• You advise and support your colleagues and external customers regarding tool usage and best practices. This typically includes the entire life cycle including deployments.
• You adapt internal build and deployment processes to project requirements and automate them.
• You promote constructive collaboration between business, IT departments and other stakeholders. With your DevOps expertise, you help external customers with their innovations and the successful implementation of their DevOps programmes.
• You develop the team both in content and personnel: expanding know-how, internal offerings and onboarding new employees.
Qualifications
Your profile:
• University of Applied Sciences, ETH, or university degree in computer science
• Experience in setup, administration and operation of lifecycle, build and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
• You are comfortable with the Linux shell as well as in the administration of the tools.
• Experience in designing and implementing industrial-grade scripts, the tool chain for build automation and deployment
• Experience in agile software development and/or IT operations. Scrum, SAFe and ITIL knowledge are advantageous
• As an employee of an IT service provider, reliability and customer orientation are natural to you. You conduct intensive communication in our customer projects motivated and professionally
• High commitment and flexibility as well as willingness to learn new things
• Structured and goal-oriented approach
Advantages would be:
• Experience in regulated industries e.g. banking or payment.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.
