Dietlikon is a growing municipality in the heart of the "glow. das Glattal" region with over 8,000 inhabitants. Its proximity to Zurich, excellent infrastructure, very good public transport connections, and the nearby motorway junction make Dietlikon an attractive place to live and work.

The Hofwiesen retirement centre offers a home to 69 elderly people in their fourth stage of life. In addition to two nursing wards with 57 beds, "Hofwiesen" also has a closed residential group for people with dementia with 12 places. Around 76 employees lovingly and professionally accompany the residents through their daily lives and ensure their well-being. The building was comprehensively renovated and modernised in 2022 and 2023. The political municipality of Dietlikon is the sponsor of the Hofwiesen retirement centre.

To complement our team, we are looking for a

Health Specialist EFZ (60 – 100 %)

Your area of responsibility

• Holistic, professional and individual care, support and advice for residents and their relatives
• Participation in and shaping of quality and continuity in care process management according to the reference care system
• Shaping everyday life and a homely environment together with the residents according to their needs and daily condition • Ensuring a smooth daily routine
• Support in accompanying and guiding trainees according to the instructions of the vocational trainer

Your profile

• Completed training as a Health Specialist
• High social competence with empathetic, patient and appreciative interaction with our residents • Sympathetic appearance, negotiation skills and ability to reach consensus
• Team-oriented, responsible and independent working style
• Experience in implementing quality and care processes as well as with the BESA classification system
• Good IT user skills (MS Office products, Care Coach)
• Flexibility for deployment in split shifts
