Our ELAR team is working on one of the most exciting projects: the replacement of the existing document management system (ELAR) by OPUS – the basis for future digitalization and automation. In the coming years, OPUS will be rolled out to our customers, the cantonal compensation offices.
A central component is the migration of documents from ELAR to OPUS. For this, we are looking for you as a Software Engineer & Test Manager (m/f/d), supported by a dedicated team consisting of internal and external employees.
Your mission: You ensure that the data migration runs smoothly and the new platform operates optimally – with your expertise in development and testing.
What you will achieve
Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Software Engineering area:
- Responsibility for the export interface of ELAR data
- Analysis, development, and testing of customer-specific adaptations
- Management of test environments (data provision, deployments of new releases)
- Handling defects from test migrations
- Optimization of the export interface (monitoring, performance)
- Maintenance and further development of software components
- Collaboration with external developers of the migration platform
- Testing and migration area:
- Creation of test plans and test cases for functional tests
- Planning and support of end users during migration tests
- Accompanying end-to-end test migrations and productive migrations
- Defect handling and quality assurance
Why you will succeed
For this exciting role, we are looking for committed and dynamic individuals with the following desired profile:
- Completed education or further training in business informatics (HF/FH) or Bachelor FH/Uni with IT affinity
- Experience in technical testing, ideally in migration tests
- Knowledge in analysis and programming of client/server applications
- SQL, Oracle and/or DB2 know-how
- IBM Filenet knowledge is an advantage
- Very good German skills
- Independent, structured working style and enjoyment of teamwork
