This position reports to:
Maintenance Team Leader
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you have the opportunity to support the maintenance team. Daily, you carry out activities according to the agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. Additionally, you contribute your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the plants and production lines.
The working model for this position is: on-site
This role contributes to Electrification, Smart Buildings, Energy Distribution in Schaffhausen.
Your area of responsibility
Troubleshooting and fault rectification (mechanical / electrical / pneumatic) on equipment in our diverse machinery park with a high degree of automation
Preventive maintenance and servicing of production equipment
Close collaboration with the manufacturing islands and further cooperation with Production Engineering and external service providers
Participation and implementation in continuous improvement within the operational production environment
Contribution to improvements in the area of Lean Management
Qualifications for the role
Completed vocational training as an automation technician, mechatronics technician, polymechanic, production mechanic, electrician or comparable qualification
At least 10 years of experience in troubleshooting and fault rectification on production and assembly equipment (mechanical / electrical / pneumatic)
NIV13 or NIV15 installation licence desirable or willingness to obtain it (covered by ABB)
Good team player qualities, strong communication skills, motivated and independent working style
Basic knowledge of MS Office, SAP
Very good German skills, basic knowledge of English advantageous
Willingness to work in a 3-shift system with on-call duty (after intensive training phase)
