What you will do here
- Develop the content of the new study specialisation " Special Crops with a Focus on Vegetables " and implement it for the autumn semester 2027/28
- Convey central content of the specialisation as well as selected courses in the Master’s programme through your own teaching activities
- Design, organise and competently supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
- Build and further develop your own research and service activities by acquiring third-party funding
- Actively build and maintain a strong network in the industry and research
What you ideally bring with you
- Completed university education in plant sciences, preferably with a doctorate
- A high degree of initiative, responsibility, teamwork skills and willingness to work interdisciplinarily
- Several years of professional experience in vegetable cultivation outside the academic sector, an established network in practice, industry, research and administration, as well as several years of experience with application-oriented research
- Ideally qualification in university teaching and the associated tasks
- Native German or French speaker, with good knowledge of the other language
