Become part of our crew now and bring movement into your everyday job - YOU are OCHSNER SPORT!For our 4-person team in the sports textile area for our own brands, we are looking for YOU as a product developer. With your absolute can-do personality and great passion for sports, you ensure the co-development of the collections and the expansion of a needs-based assortment.
You ensure the production process, quality assurance, and timely delivery. Your technical know-how is also required in development (processing, fit, measurements, etc.). You can expect close cooperation with product management as well as purchasing.Area of responsibility:
- You take over communication with external partners such as producers, weavers, and accessory suppliers, in German as well as English
- Preparation of documents for price and sample inquiries, you also develop technical documents such as size charts and worksheets
- You process and create sample comments (measuring samples, conducting fittings, and commenting on samples)
- You ensure product quality by requesting and releasing fabric, yarn, and ingredient colors
- You work closely with internal teams such as marketing (providing samples for shootings, creating product information) or sales outlets (sample shifts for quotas, competitor analyses)
- Monitoring and reminding of delivery dates for counter samples, size sets, sales samples, and production
- You release deliveries in coordination with purchasing, always aiming to ensure the highest product quality and a strong assortment at the POS
- You have a basic education in retail or commercial training (ideally in the fashion or sports industry) and have completed further training at a textile school or in purchasing
- Ideally, you bring initial professional experience in product development
- Very good textile knowledge (fabrics, processing, cutting technology) as well as knowledge in assessing fits and processing
- Strong sense for trends, colors, and cuts in the sports fashion sector
- Confident handling of common office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as experience with Illustrator or Photoshop is desirable
- For flawless communication with partners and suppliers, you bring confident German as well as very good English skills
- You are an open and communicative team player but also like to work independently and always keep an overview of all processes
