– Enjoyment of technical drawing by hand and with the computer (CAD)
Training:

– Vocational school (1-2 days/week)
– Vocational maturity school if interested (1 day/week)
– Internship on construction sites (building and civil engineering)
Qualification:
– Federal certificate of competence "Draftsperson EFZ in Civil Engineering"
Further training opportunities:
– University of Applied Sciences (e.g. Bachelor of Science FH in Civil Engineering)
– Higher professional examination with federal diploma (e.g. Construction Manager)
– Higher technical school (e.g. Construction Technician)
– Additional apprenticeship (e.g. as a mason or road builder)
