Engineer CAD/CAM & Production (m/f/d)

Role:
In this versatile position, you will take on the technical implementation of complex customer and production requirements in the CAD/CAM environment. You create and optimise digital models, support production preparation, and ensure efficient implementation of technical concepts. Through your structured working method and your understanding of development and manufacturing processes, you contribute significantly to the success of innovative projects.
Responsibilities:
- You support sales through development drawings based on customer requirements and market needs
- In this role, you create and optimise item drawings considering material utilisation, quality, and resource use
- As Engineer CAD/CAM & Production, you develop tool, template, and production drawings in collaboration with development and production
- You create and maintain CAD/CAM data and prepare it for manufacturing
- In this role, you support prototypes and new developments including technical clarifications and manufacturing cost calculations
- As Engineer CAD/CAM & Production, you are the technical contact for product queries, CAD support, and training of CAD users
Qualifications:
You have completed a technical basic education, e.g. as a draftsman/woman EFZ, or a comparable qualification, ideally supplemented by technical further training
You have several years of professional experience in design, CAD/CAM, or a comparable technical function, preferably in an industrial or production company
You are proficient in creating and editing technical drawings and work confidently with CAD systems; experience in CAM and preparation of manufacturing data is an advantage
You bring a good understanding of manufacturing processes, production procedures, materials, and technical contexts
You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, with a strong quality and cost awareness, and communicate well with sales, development, production, and other internal interfaces
You have very good German skills, good English skills, good MS Office knowledge, and handle technical documentation and master data confidently
