You are the driving force for quality and continuous improvement in all project phases within our Rail Infrastructure project execution area. At the same time, you appreciate the diversity of project business and support adjacent tasks in project coordination as needed. With your hands-on mentality, you contribute where the project team needs support and continuously develop yourself in new subject areas.
Your new field of responsibility
- Creation and further development of project-specific quality plans, definition of quality objectives, and monitoring of target achievement based on relevant KPIs
- Ensuring compliance with Siemens quality standards, industry regulations, and contractual requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Accompanying milestone processes, moderating Quality Gates, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Identifying quality-related risks and developing appropriate measures to mitigate risks
- Planning and conducting project audits, assessments, and reviews, as well as preparing and communicating results to project management, management, and customers
- Close collaboration with project management, engineering, operations, and supplier quality teams to ensure the required quality level
- Taking on additional project-related coordination and support tasks in PMO, document management, scheduling, or project control environments, as well as actively shaping projects beyond the classic QMiP role
Your talents and experience
- Higher education in engineering, quality management, or technical apprenticeship combined with relevant further training in quality
- Solid experience in project planning, execution, and/or project management is essential
- Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. ISO 10005/10006) and QM methods
- Very good organisational skills, independent working style, assertiveness, and the ability to proactively drive improvements
- Interest in cross-cutting project management topics and willingness to take on additional tasks in the project environment as needed
- Openness to familiarise yourself with new specialist areas and methods; experience in PMO, scheduling, or document management tasks is an advantage but not a requirement
- Fluent German and English skills, French is an advantage
