The Child and Adult Protection Authority KESB Dietikon is responsible for ensuring the protection of adults and children. The audit department reviews inventories, reports, and accounts of guardians and handles complex cases with a focus on inheritance law, finance, property, and social insurance law.
We are looking for a
Your tasks
You will work independently on legal fact-finding in child and adult protection proceedings, including:
- Review of transactions requiring approval (Art. 416 ZGB) with a focus on inheritance law, real estate, finance, and social insurance as well as review of other complex asset-related issues in child and adult protection
- Conducting hearings and drafting reasoned/unreasoned decision drafts for the authority
- Advisory voice in authority meetings including minute-taking
- Clarification of legal questions for the audit department and providing information (in writing, by phone, at the counter)
- Participation in the development and further development of standards, information sheets, and tools for the audit department
- If interested and suitable: taking over the deputy management of the audit department
Your profile
- Degree in law (lic. iur. / MLaw), lawyer’s license advantageous
- Solid experience in child and adult protection law as well as good knowledge or practical experience in property and inheritance law
- Several years of legal professional experience in an official, judicial, or administrative environment
- Independent, structured, responsible, and pragmatic working style; you enjoy solving complex cases in a structured way
- Confident in oral and written expression
- Empathy and humor: you treat people in difficult life situations with respect – and keep an overview even under pressure
- Team player: appreciative, solution-oriented, and interdisciplinary collaboration with guardians, external agencies, and within KESB
- For the deputy management, leadership experience or willingness for corresponding further training is required
