Sous Chef (m/f/d) 100% - No Room Curfew

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting a Sous Chef for the exclusive guest area of a renowned event and gastronomy company in the Zurich region. The position offers an exciting mix of high-quality gastronomy, leadership responsibility, and diverse events - combined with regulated working hours without a room curfew.

Responsibilities

* Responsibility for ensuring timely and high-quality food production in the VIP and event area

* Independent leadership and organisation of your own kitchen brigade

* Operational participation in exclusive events, banquets, and catering

* Assistance in planning, organising, and optimising kitchen workflows

* Support and deputising for the kitchen management during absences

* Ensuring and controlling hygiene, quality, and HACCP standards

* Promotion and support of the kitchen team in daily operations

Profile

* Completed training as a cook EFZ or EBA

* Several years of experience as Chef de Partie or Sous Chef

* Experience in upscale gastronomy, hotel industry, or event gastronomy

* Independent, structured, and organised working style

* High quality orientation and strong service understanding

* Initial leadership experience and enjoyment of team responsibility

* Good German language skills, both spoken and written

* Residence in the Zurich region is an advantage
