Head of Clinic for Travel Medicine and Global Health

About the job

Your main duties will be as follows:

• Supervise and manage assistant doctors and nurses;
•  Actively train assistant doctors in vaccination practice, tropical medicine, and travel medicine;
•  Conduct consultations in tropical medicine, travel medicine, and vaccinations;
• Organise and actively participate in the department's conferences and training activities;
• Participate in the organisation and management of the unit; 
• Respond to internal and external requests in the field of vaccination, tropical medicine, and travel medicine; 
• Participate in the department's global health and/or clinical research activities. 

Your assets:

• Holder of a federal medical diploma or an equivalent recognised title by MEBEKO; 
• FMH in tropical and travel medicine or an equivalent recognised title (global health), or nearing completion of training in these fields;
• Experience in tropical or subtropical countries as well as in a vaccination centre;
• Experience in outpatient medicine;
• Interest in supervising training teams;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of teamwork;
• Proficiency in French and English at B2 level.
