About the job

Together with your co-head colleague, you lead the Bachelor Digital Ideation and develop it as a leading study programme at the interface of computer science, visual communication and the digital professional world. For this, we are looking for a visionary leader with excellent networking in the professional world, a passion for university teaching and profound knowledge of the latest technological and media developments in the field of computer science and visual communication. In particular, your tasks include:

• professional, personnel and administrative co-leadership of the Bachelor Digital Ideation
• further development of the curriculum and quality management in close cooperation with the Departments of Computer Science and Design Film Art
• building and maintaining contacts with industry and professional committees
• marketing the degree programme and student recruitment
• planning and conducting teaching events
• participation in the further development of the Departments of Computer Science and Design Film Art

• You are a communicative and team-experienced personality with leadership experience
• You have a university degree at master’s level in computer science or a comparable field
• You have several years of professional experience in industry at the interface of computer science and visual communication. You know the relevant professional fields profoundly and are excellently networked in them.
• You have knowledge of current technical as well as design developments in the professional world, especially regarding the use of AI
• You think interdisciplinarily and have experience in collaborating with people from different professional backgrounds
• Teaching experience at a university is desirable. A certificate in university didactics can be acquired subsequently.
• You have very good knowledge of the German and English languages
