These are your tasks

• You bear the main responsibility for carrying out service and maintenance assignments on steel or aluminium windows and doors. This includes: inspections, functional tests, fine adjustments, replacement of fittings, seals and locks, documentation of service reports
• You conduct fire protection door and emergency exit door inspections (testing, maintenance and acceptance according to standards), create fault diagnoses and are responsible for their repair and maintenance.
• In facade construction and glazing, you carry out fault diagnoses and perform adjustments and repairs on post-and-beam systems.
• You handle glazing and sealing safely and professionally, including dismantling and assembly work after glass breakage.
• You install fittings and locks and can correctly adjust and also repair systems such as Reynaers, Forster, Glutz, Schüco, Roto, Jansen as well as locks from EFF, MTS, Dorma.
• You occasionally undertake assembly assignments to support our assembly team.
• You comply with safety and assembly regulations, carry out final inspections and handovers to customers.

What you bring with you?

• You have completed training as a metal construction locksmith EFZ / metalworker EFZ
• You hold a category B driving licence
• You have at least 5 years of experience in assembly/service for windows and doors.
• You are fluent in German, both spoken and written.
• You are proficient in using mobile phones and tablets.
• You have up-to-date technical understanding in the areas of mechanics, sealing systems, glazing technology as well as fitting and lock knowledge.
• You communicate appropriately with customers, solve problems independently and document your work carefully.

What scores you additional points?

• You have already gained initial experience with fire protection and emergency exit doors as well as windows and patio doors
• You have successfully completed the mobile elevating work platform test and personal protective equipment against falls (PSAgA) and the certification is current

• Experience in the position of chief fitter and in team leadership
• You speak foreign languages such as French and English well orally
• The trailer test complements your category B driving licence
