To strengthen our plant design team, we are looking for you – a motivated engineer who enjoys challenging and diverse tasks in plant design. If you want to continuously develop yourself and take on a central role in our projects and at HINE, we look forward to receiving your application.

In this central role, you are responsible for the planning and technical specification of equipment and plant apparatus in demanding projects.

Your tasks

• Dimensioning, specification and selection of plant equipment
• Detailed planning for process engineering plants with modern CAE tools (CADISON)
• Creation of 3D models for apparatus and piping for optimal plant design
• Creation and review of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&I)
• Development and implementation of installation, deployment and insertion plans
• Conducting cost estimates and cost calculations
• Preparation of plans, drawings and material lists
• Support and coordination of suppliers as well as monitoring of manufacturing and assembly
• Conducting inventories and audits at customer sites
• Conducting factory acceptance tests and accompanying functional tests
• Maintenance and updating of plant documentation
• Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal planning results

Your profile

Professional qualifications, experience and skills

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, process engineering or a comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge in the creation of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&I)
• Strong skills in dimensioning, specification and selection of plant equipment
• In-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics and/or thermodynamics and their application in process engineering plant design
• Experience with common planning and CAE software tools (e.g. Autodesk Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, AutoCAD, CADISON, COMOS)
• Professional experience in process engineering plant design, especially with equipment such as heat exchangers, pumps, vessels, valves and instruments
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business and customer visits
