Financial Accountant with Year-End Closing Expertise

We are immediately seeking for our client an experienced individual to temporarily support the existing finance team until the end of February 2027, particularly ensuring the completion of the 2026 year-end closing.

The company is an internationally active Swiss industrial enterprise with several locations worldwide.

The focus of this assignment is a reliable bridging in accounting. Therefore, an experienced and year-end closing proficient individual is sought who can quickly familiarise themselves and take on operational responsibility.

Your tasks with the new employer

• Ensuring ongoing financial accounting for group companies in Switzerland and abroad
• Responsibility for and active participation in monthly and especially the 2026 year-end closing according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and Swiss GAAP FER
• Participation in ongoing accounting processes such as payment transactions, VAT, and asset accounting
• Support in compliance with and documentation of the internal control system (ICS) as well as cooperation with external auditors
• Support with further accounting and closing topics within the Güdel Group

You offer your new employer

• For this position, you bring several years of experience in finance and accounting
• You are familiar with preparing financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
• Experience in an internationally active company with a group structure is an advantage but not mandatory
• Good knowledge of SAP (FI) and Excel is a plus, and knowledge of additional SAP modules such as CO/PS or MM/SD is an additional advantage
• Due to the international environment, good German and English skills are required
