At Zurich Switzerland, you take on a central role in the Claims business area in the professional and customer-oriented handling of cyber claims within Property and Casualty insurance.

The Property and Casualty Claims department is responsible for handling all claims from property and liability insurance for private and corporate clients and plays a central role in maintaining our high service quality.

Within a well-coordinated team, you will work diligently and independently on cyber insurance claims. You analyse damage reports, clarify facts, assess liability and coverage issues, and calculate compensation. You are the central contact for our insured clients, advise them competently, initiate immediate measures, and coordinate collaboration with IT specialists, lawyers, and other partners. Your careful documentation and compliance with guidelines and regulatory requirements ensure that all claims are processed thoroughly and transparently.

What to expect

• Independent handling of cyber insurance claims in the SME segment in German is one of the main tasks
• Responsibilities include fact-finding, liability and coverage assessments, as well as damage and compensation calculations
• Our insured clients are competently advised, immediate measures are initiated, and partners involved in the claim are coordinated
• Comprehensive and effective claims handling is ensured through contact with our insured clients, IT specialists, and lawyers
• Knowledge of additional national languages and solid English skills are advantageous

What distinguishes you

• You have a legal or insurance-related education.
• You bring experience in the insurance industry and ideally have experience in claims settlement of complex claims.
• You have an interest in cyber and IT topics and see the requirements around cyber insurance as a challenge and an opportunity for development.
• Ideally, you have completed business management and/or other further training related to IT.
• You have a quick grasp, are precise, and value being able to organise yourself.
