In the Department of Society, Family and Volunteers area, we are looking to strengthen our team from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement with you as Assistant Playgroup.
The Playgroup Plus offers preschool children a protected, manageable and lovingly designed space where they can learn and develop through free play, relationships and diverse experiences. Children may attend Playgroup Plus 2 years before starting school. The focus of the Playgroup Plus work is the child with their individual personality and developmental status. Special emphasis is placed on the targeted promotion of social, emotional and language development.

Your tasks
- Support the playgroup leader in everyday life
- Accompany the children during daily routines and transitions and promote their independence and self-efficacy
- Support the children in their social, emotional, linguistic and creative development through free play and targeted activities
- Assist with creative activities, movement and nature offerings
- Prepare and maintain play, craft and learning materials
- Support excursions, projects, celebrations and seasonal activities
- Co-responsibility for compliance with hygiene, safety and quality standards
- Appreciative collaboration within the team
Your profile
- Educational understanding and interest in the holistic promotion of early childhood development.
- Identification with our educational concept and enjoyment in actively implementing it in everyday life
- Affinity and interest in early education, care and upbringing topics
- Enjoyment of empathetic and respectful interaction with children as well as collaboration with families from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Very good oral and written German skills, English skills and other foreign language skills are an advantage
- Flexibility and willingness for occasional evening or weekend shifts; holidays are taken during school holidays
- Reliability, resilience and a positive, open personality
- Service-oriented and independent working style with good organisational skills
