The Salvation Army Foundation Switzerland, as a leading social non-profit organisation and church, offers straightforward support to people in challenging life situations. In the Finance Social Work organisational unit, we act as an important partner in the social work business areas.Your tasks
- Responsibility for several financial accounts, as well as their cost accounting, with the support of an administrative assistant
- Direct contact person for the site managers as internal customers
- Contact with other stakeholders: controllers, funders, and the external audit office
- Reporting through monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
Your profile
- Commercial basic training, preferably with further training as an accounting clerk
- Several years of professional experience as an accountant
- Native language is German
- You are confident with financial statements, digitally savvy with solid software skills, especially in Excel
- Familiarity with the ERP system Business Central is an advantage
- Team player, communicative and resilient
- You combine both: accuracy and efficiency
- Even under pressure, you keep the goal in sight and meet deadlines
- Service-oriented attitude for professional interaction with various stakeholders
- Identification with the vision, mission, and mandate and the Christian values of the Salvation Army
