The Office for Supplementary Benefits, with 10 employees, administers supplementary benefits for IV/AHV recipients and bridging benefits for older unemployed people in the city of Dietikon, thereby ensuring an adequate minimum income for people in modest circumstances.

• Providing information about the rights and obligations of insured persons and employers concerning AHV, IV, EO, FAK and ALV
• Informing insured persons about their entitlements in the area of premium reductions
• Receiving, processing and forwarding correspondence
• Assisting at the counter (general information provision) in the area of supplementary benefits for AHV/IV
• Checking, billing and reimbursing illness and disability costs in the area of supplementary benefits for AHV/IV
• Personal and telephone advice to applicants, their relatives as well as social workers and legal guardians
