BW-TEC AG, based in Höri (ZH), is a specialised Swiss company that develops and manufactures special machines for medical technology. Our approximately 60 employees work in a well-coordinated team - embedded in a global network of sister companies. Our systems are used worldwide.

From 1 October or by arrangement, we are looking for an Engineering Team Leader who, with technical expertise, leadership strength and entrepreneurial thinking, shapes and actively further develops our development and design processes.

Your tasks:

• You lead your engineering team – both professionally and personally – and create an environment where precision and innovation go hand in hand
• You build our project management structures, optimise existing processes and lay the foundations for scalable growth
• You manage development and customer projects – from planning through resource allocation to timely implementation
• You work closely with production, purchasing, application and assembly, ensuring projects run smoothly
• You are the direct contact for our customers – for special solutions, technical clarifications and concept developments
• You work closely with our international sister companies and are part of a global engineering network
• You drive standardisations and improvements, specifically use modern tools and AI, and utilise the full potential of the CAD/PDM/ERP environment
• You develop your team – through mentoring, internal training and a culture of learning

You bring with you:

• Completed studies as a mechanical engineer FH/ETH or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the development and design of special machines
• Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams – you understand how to support, challenge and inspire people to high performance
• Working leader through and through – close to the team and close to the technology
• Strong competence in project management – you keep an overview even in complex projects and communicate clearly internally and externally
• Very good knowledge of CAD systems (SolidWorks), PDM systems and ERP as well as confident handling of modern digital tools and AI applications
• Precise, structured and solution-oriented working style with a high quality awareness
• Strong communication skills and high social competence
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Joy of innovation and interest in technological and process-related further development
