The Kantonsschule Hohe Promenade is a grammar school with classical and modern language profiles, a German / English immersion course, and a strong STEM offering. Around 800 pupils study at our school, taught and supported by 150 teachers and staff in administration and operations. We are looking for an employee for our ICT team to start immediately or by arrangement. For good accessibility, we expect presence at least four days a week, distributed flexibly (e.g. two full and two half days); the exact arrangement will be agreed upon together.
Your Tasks
- 1st-level support for school-owned computers (Mac), iPads, printers, projectors, and visualisers as well as for BYOD devices (Mac/iOS and Windows) of pupils, teachers, and staff
- Management and administration of school-owned iPads and Macs via our MDM (Jamf), including enrolment, app distribution, and security measures (e.g. LostMode)
- Support for teachers with technology in classrooms (projectors, visualisers, presentation devices) and ensuring smooth teaching operations
- Handling incoming ICT requests from all school members via phone, ticket system, or at the counter
- Participation in ICT projects within the framework of digital transformation
- Maintenance of internal IT infrastructure (clients, peripherals) and assistance in ensuring IT security
Your Profile
- Broad knowledge of Apple hardware and software as well as Microsoft Windows; Office 365
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence and an affinity for using AI tools purposefully for problem analysis and resolution
- Completed training as a specialist EFZ, a degree in computer science, or comparable experience
- Good general technical knowledge, independent, reliable, and responsible working style
- Strong service and customer orientation and enjoyment of direct contact with pupils and teachers
- Open, team-oriented, and committed personality
