About the job
What you can achieve
- Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care (conservative and operative) of hip diseases and injuries
- Independent performance of surgical procedures in hip endoprosthetics, revision surgery, joint-preserving hip surgery as well as traumatology
- Leadership and collaboration in specialised hip clinics as well as interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation
- Assumption and further development of own research projects as well as publication activities
- Commitment to the training and education of assistant physicians
What you bring with you
- Specialist title in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System (FMH or recognised in Switzerland); habilitation advantageous
- Several years of clinical experience in hip surgery, ideally with proven expertise in endoprosthetics, revision procedures and traumatology
- Enjoyment of working in a university, interprofessional environment
- High service orientation, teamwork skills and strong communication competence
- Scientific interest and willingness to actively promote research and innovation
- Motivation to take responsibility and help shape the further development of the department
