Team Leader Goods Receipt (m/f/d), 100%
Your tasks
In this role, you are responsible for the personnel, professional and organisational leadership of the goods receipt team and ensure the smooth and error-free execution of all processes in this area. You plan and control the workflows based on relevant key figures and ensure that goods are stored on time, completely and in the required quality.
You consistently monitor compliance with deadlines and quality requirements, handle complaints professionally and ensure a clean processing of daily business. At the same time, you ensure the correct maintenance of all changes and bookings in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and are responsible for seamless, transparent, efficient and error-free receipt and storage of all items.
An important part of your task is the continuous development and optimisation of processes: you critically analyse existing workflows, identify optimisation potentials and implement targeted improvements. In addition, you coordinate storage and relocation processes and ensure efficient digital processes across all warehouse areas – from the automated small parts warehouse (Autostore) to the area and cable warehouse.
As a manager, you are present, lead clearly and promote a performance-oriented as well as constructive collaboration within the team. At the same time, you stay close to operational implementation and support your team situationally in daily business.
Your profile
- Completed vocational training, ideally in logistics or supply chain. Relevant further training preferred (e.g. LEAN/Six Sigma)
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in logistics, especially in goods receipt. Experience with automated warehouses (Autostore, automated high-bay warehouse, etc.)
- Experience in goods issue and a good understanding of end-to-end logistics processes.
- Strong commitment as well as an independent and responsible way of working
- Experience in leading, developing and motivating employees as well as in cross-departmental communication
- Focus on continuous optimisation of goods receipt processes with demonstrable results in improving relevant KPIs and minimising error rates/complaints
- Experience in setting up and operating two-stage goods receipt preferred
- Quick comprehension and networked thinking
- Structured, precise and solution-oriented working style with high quality awareness
- Confident handling of MS Office as well as solid experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Analytical thinking. Very solid Excel skills. PowerBI an advantage
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form, French and/or Italian an advantage
