What you can achieve
- Dismantling ammunition and equipment with hand tools
- Operating and monitoring dismantling and cutting systems
- Packaging, labelling and palletising materials
- Sorting and disposing of residues and electronic waste
- Transporting materials with industrial trucks and forklifts
- Cleaning, maintenance and servicing of the systems
- Carrying out quantity checks and documenting production volumes

About the department
The Operational Competence Centre Liquidation (BKZ Liq) covers the organisational handling of liquidation and the sale of decommissioned army material to third parties throughout Switzerland. At the Altdorf site, we also ensure the professional liquidation and disposal of the Swiss Army's ammunition returns that are due for destruction annually or repeatedly. This occasionally also includes ammunition disposals to be handled within the framework of individual projects of armasuisse.
