The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland. Your tasks
- As part of our development team, you work in the areas of conception, design, simulation, manufacturing, project planning, and construction of machines for large research facilities and experimental stations, contributing daily to cutting-edge research
- Analyze the requirements of scientists and exchange ideas with the team to develop creative solutions
- The expertise you acquire at the University of Applied Sciences can be applied both in design and in other specialist groups such as the workshop or the coordination group
- You will have the opportunity to gain insights into other departments and build additional professional skills
Your profile
- You will complete the federally recognized Matura this year and want to study mechanical engineering as a practice-integrated Bachelor’s degree PiBS at FHNW
- You find the research environment exciting and commit to working with us for four years with at least 40% in Model A
- As a technology-enthusiastic and communicative person, you appreciate teamwork and like to contribute proactively
