Your tasks in Payment Operations
- Processing the entire payment transactions and monitoring payment systems
- Handling standing orders and processing direct debits (LSV)
- Booking debit card transactions
- Executing bank-to-bank payments and processing precious metal account transactions as well as account reconciliations
- Initiating and responding to SWIFT and email investigations as well as creating payment investigations for clients, client advisors, and correspondent banks
- Point of contact for payment transaction inquiries from client advisors, internal departments, or correspondent banks
- Creating and delivering reports
- Participating in projects and system tests for the implementation of new or improved applications, automations, digitalisations, and process optimisations
Your tasks in Banking Relations
- Managing, monitoring, and further developing the counterparty network (correspondent banks, brokers, custodians, and clearing systems)
- Ensuring appropriate market and currency access
- Identifying and onboarding new business partners as well as responding to KYC enquiries
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
- Analysing and monitoring payment transaction and trading volumes
- Negotiating and reviewing terms, fee structures, and agreements of the counterparty network
- Controlling costs related to the agreed terms with counterparties
- Responsibility for structured escalation and incident management of the counterparty network
- Contract management of business partners in collaboration with internal departments
Your profile
- Completed banking training and/or higher education with a focus on finance/business administration
- Experience in a bank as a relationship manager or in trading & treasury, middle office, or operations
- Several years of solid professional experience in payment transactions (SIC, EUROSIC, SWIFT)
- Systematic, precise, and reliable working style with motivation to optimise processes
- Independent, communicative, proactive, and team-oriented personality
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Experience in participating in projects and process optimisations with a pronounced technical flair
- Very good German and English skills (level C1/C2)

Your first six months with us
In the first two to three months, a structured induction takes place. Internal processes, procedures, and the systems and programmes used are conveyed to build a solid understanding of the activities in payment operations/banking relations. Afterwards, more responsibility in the various tasks of the two specialist areas is gradually handed over so that you can take on responsibility in daily business.
