The Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB) is there for people in need. Those who need help and support can count on KESB. No day is like the other with us. In the interdisciplinary team, we actively shape a safe future for vulnerable adults, families, children and young people.
We are looking for a Specialist for the Assessment Service for the KESB Graubünden, North Grisons branch from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
- With great independence and autonomy, supported by a team with extensive expertise, case analyses with the corresponding application to the authority are to be prepared
- Contact and conversations with directly affected persons and relatives, often directly in their living environment
- Situational adjustment of the individual assessment steps while observing legal requirements and in consultation with the case management
- Obtaining relevant information from involved professionals, institutions and offices
- Assessment of subsidiary and supplementary support services
- Implementation of adapted crisis interventions
What we expect from you
- Degree in Social Work BSc/FH/HFS or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in the fields of child and adult protection or willingness to undertake further training accordingly
- Very high communication and social skills with a broad repertoire of methods
- Empathy towards people in difficult life situations
- Analytical skills to structure, define and initiate necessary interventions in complex social situations
- KLIB knowledge desired
- Reliable and resilient, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Independent and networked thinking personality
- Flexible with a high service orientation and ability to work in a team in an interdisciplinary context
