Shape a reliable material supply with us

For our operational purchasing department, we are looking for a committed individual who reliably supplies our production with materials and components. In this hub function, you connect suppliers, production planning, engineering, quality, logistics, finance, and strategic purchasing.

Your responsibilities

• Check requirements and order proposals in the ERP system, place orders and track order confirmations
• Actively monitor delivery dates, quantities and backlogs and effectively escalate in case of deviations
• Address bottlenecks together with production planning, engineering, quality, logistics and strategic purchasing
• Obtain quotes for operational needs and compare and award within defined competencies
• Clarify price, date and quantity differences and resolve invoice discrepancies with suppliers and finance
• Coordinate complaints and returns in close coordination with quality management
• Keep purchasing-relevant material, order and supplier master data accurate and up to date
• Ensure compliance with approved suppliers, contracts, conditions, drawing statuses and procurement processes

Your profile

• Basic training in a technical or commercial environment, ideally supplemented by further training in purchasing or supply chain management
• Experience in operational purchasing, scheduling or materials management in an industrial company
• Technical understanding, ERP routine and confident use of Microsoft 365
• Very good German skills as well as practical English
• A structured, reliable working style, assertiveness and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration
