Job Description
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of premises and cages.
- Participate in daily laundry tasks to clean the various dirty cages. This involves operating the autoclave, using professional washing tanks, handling loads and manipulating bleach.
- Implement good laboratory practices within the animal facility. Enforce strict prophylaxis and respect the so-called forward flow processes.
- Feeding and care of laboratory animals.
- Occasional weekend and public holiday duty.

- Possess strong motivation, organisational skills and demonstrate responsiveness, initiative and autonomy
- Be rigorous, conscientious and versatile
- Have interpersonal and communication skills, essential for interactions with the zootechnical team members and researchers.

As part of its development, the "Laboratory of Natural and Artificial Evolution" (LANE – https://www.lanevol.org ) is seeking an Animal Caretaker collaborator to contribute to the smooth running of its animal facility housing exotic reptiles and mammals. Seriousness, motivation and punctuality are essential.
