Mid-level Staff Association of the University of Bern (MVUB)
Start of employment: March 1, 2026 or by arrangement
The MVUB represents the mid-level staff of the University of Bern in their scientific and professional interests vis-à-vis university and non-university committees and authorities. It is organized as an association and is supported by a professional office.
To complement the office in organizing and conducting events as well as in communication with the association members, we are looking for a proactive clerk.
Your tasks
- Management of the website and communication channels
- Communication planning
- Writing and translating newsletters
- Planning, organizing and conducting association events and the general meeting
- Accounting and annual financial statements in cooperation with the fiduciary office
- Assistance to the management as needed
The office includes two dedicated assistant helpers who support all tasks.
You bring
- Completed commercial training or equivalent with several years of professional experience, preferably in a university environment
- Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Content Management System (ZMS5) as well as PowerPoint
- Communicative and skilled in written expression
- Very good English skills, French skills are an advantage
- Enjoyment of challenging and varied tasks
- Independent, precise and efficient working style
- Teamwork skills and high flexibility
