Let us introduce ourselves:

We are the Interdisciplinary Emergency Centre at Zollikerberg Hospital, which treats and cares for over 15,000 patients annually. The emergency centre has 10 treatment bays including a shock room and plaster room, as well as a fast track with two treatment places.

Our emergency centre is assigned to the Clinic for Internal Medicine, a central and significant service centre of Zollikerberg Hospital. The clinic cares for over 3,300 inpatients annually as well as more than 450 patients in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit.

The Interdisciplinary Emergency Centre is the interface for all specialist disciplines represented at Zollikerberg Hospital, including the Clinic for Internal Medicine with gastroenterology, cardiology, pneumology, endocrinology/diabetology, oncology, infectiology, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, acute geriatrics and palliative medicine, as well as general surgery, orthopaedics with specialised spinal surgery, radiology, gynaecology and obstetrics with neonatology.
