Tasks
You will work both in a team and independently. Above all, you will be in daily contact with the aircraft mechanics and perform tasks directly on site, e.g. in the hangar, in the Terminal offices, or even on the aircraft.
- Configuration and remote management of about 1000 iPhones and iPads of the aircraft mechanics
- Troubleshooting and resolving iPhone and iPad issues directly with the user on site
- Ensuring the connection between mobile devices and TechOps applications, e.g. AMOS, Boeing Toolbox
- Support in rolling out new ELB (Electronic Logbook) functions on iPads across the entire SWISS fleet
- IT setup of workstations in the office and operations (e.g. warehouse and tool magazine)
- Rolling out updates and general IT support (hardware & software) for the SWISS Line Maintenance department
- Inventory control of IT accessories in the on-hand stock and initiating reorders

Requirements
You will learn the technical skills with us – what is important is that you are open, have a technical interest, and enjoy working closely with people in flight operations.
- Desired workload: A 100% workload is preferred for this position.
- Basic education / schools: High school graduate or graduate of a technical, commercial, or business school or 3-year apprenticeship (EFZ)
- Passion for technology (aircraft technology / IT)
- Quick comprehension
- Proactive work attitude and solution-oriented
- Good intercultural social skills
- Good German and English skills
