Research Associate in the Field of Energy, Sustainability and Behaviour Change (70 - 100%)
University of Applied Psychology FHNW, Institute for Innovation, Transformation and Sustainability
Your tasks:
You will shape innovative projects at the interface of energy, sustainability and behaviour together with the team and interdisciplinary research and practice partners. You will focus on the change in energy consumption behaviour and the management of energy supply risks.
- Independent handling of projects and leading subprojects within the framework of application-oriented research and development
- Writing scientific publications in German and English
- Assisting in the delivery of German- and English-language courses in the Bachelor and Master of Science in Applied Psychology
- Active participation in team, institute and university development
Your profile:
- Master's degree in Psychology, ideally social psychology, behavioural psychology or business psychology
- Strong interest in and ideally existing research experience with interdisciplinary questions concerning the transformation of the energy and mobility system in Switzerland
- High competence in qualitative research methods (e.g. design, conduct and analysis of interviews)
- High competence in quantitative research methods (e.g. design and evaluation of quantitative surveys)
- Several years of professional experience (after apprenticeship or studies)
- Language skills (German: native or C2; English: C1, fluent in spoken and written)
