Risk Management and ICS Officer 80 - 100%Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.
In the staff unit of the tax office, we are looking for a colleague as soon as possible or by arrangement who will advance our risk management and the Internal Control System (ICS).
Your tasks:
- Taking on the functions of risk management and ICS officer of the tax office and independently performing these tasks.
- Operation and further development of risk management and the ICS with the aim of continuously increasing the maturity level in both areas.
- Professional advice to the management and the employees responsible for risk management and the ICS.
- Management of the respective annual processes in risk management and the ICS, ensuring methodically correct implementation and up-to-date documentation.
- Networking with relevant bodies at the level of the Finance Directorate and the canton as well as representing the interests of the tax office.
- Acting as deputy within the small, specialised Management Instruments team.
Your profile:
- Higher education with a commercial or technical background, further training in process and project management.
- Sound knowledge and many years of experience in risk management and internal control systems, preferably in the financial industry or the public sector.
- Independent and responsible working style, pronounced analytical skills and interconnected thinking.
- Proven communication, consulting and coaching skills, confident negotiation skills as well as the ability to assert yourself with convincing arguments.
- Very good knowledge of M365 applications as well as relevant applications in the area of risk management and ICS; pronounced IT affinity.
- Fluent and target group-appropriate German.
- High motivation and interest in further developing the existing systems in the tax office and raising them to a higher level.
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary and cross-departmental collaboration in a demanding cross-sectional function in the staff unit of the tax office.
