This position offers you
- You lead the Process & Systems Engineering department with professional clarity, strategic focus and strong leadership effectiveness. In doing so, you create an environment characterised by ownership, result orientation and continuous learning, and you specifically develop leaders and employees
- The further development of the organisation is your responsibility: you consistently align structures, roles and competencies to a modern, scaled and agile development organisation according to SAFe
- A central part of your role is the responsibility for the process and application development of our products – from laboratory operations through the development of device processes to qualification according to regulatory standards
- You actively drive the expansion of a consistent requirements and test management and continuously develop the degree of automation in system tests. At the same time, you establish standards and methods in requirements engineering, system testing as well as verification and validation
- The strategic further development of the laboratory and test landscape is also within your area of responsibility, consistently aligned with future requirements of product development
- In cross-departmental collaboration with development, product management, quality and operations, you ensure that different disciplines work effectively together along common goals
You bring the following to the position
- You have a degree in engineering, systems engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable field. Further training in leadership or organisational development is an advantage
- You have several years of professional and leadership experience in a technologically demanding development environment. You have successfully led interdisciplinary teams and further developed development organisations, processes and methods – ideally in the SAFe context
- You bring sound knowledge in requirements engineering, test management, verification and validation as well as a good understanding of process engineering and complex product development in the interplay of various disciplines
- You convincingly combine operational excellence with strategic organisational development. Experience with modern engineering tools as well as in the further development of laboratory or test environments is a plus
- As a leader, you convince through authenticity, implementation strength and social competence. You provide orientation in change situations, promote collaboration and develop high-performing teams in a demanding stakeholder environment
- You communicate in German at the highest level, complemented by excellent English skills

As a member of the Leadership Team in the Technology Department, you lead a broadly positioned organisation in the areas of process development, requirements engineering, test management, verification and validation as well as other application-technical engineering disciplines. Together with your team, you create the foundation for new products to be developed even faster, more robustly and consistently aligned with customer benefit.
