Project Manager Sanitary (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified specialist as a Project Manager Sanitary / Building Services for the planning, coordination and realisation of modern sanitary installations in demanding building construction projects. You will accompany sanitary projects through all planning and execution phases and, depending on your professional experience, gradually or independently take on the technical and organisational project responsibility. You will use CAD and BIM-supported planning methods, coordinate specialist planners and project teams, and ensure compliance with quality, cost and schedule requirements. The position is suitable both for junior project managers with advanced technical training and for experienced specialists who wish to contribute their knowledge in digital sanitary planning and specialist site management.

Responsibilities:

• Project management of sanitary technology: planning, organisation and control of sanitary projects in residential, commercial and general building construction across the relevant SIA project phases

• Sanitary planning and project design: development and elaboration of drinking water, hot water, wastewater and drainage concepts

• CAD and BIM planning: creation and coordination of 2D/3D sanitary plans, building services models and technical planning documents, preferably with Plancal nova

• Technical calculations: carrying out pipe network dimensioning, pressure loss calculations and design of sanitary technical systems

• Execution and detailed planning: preparation of installation plans, riser diagrams, equipment plans and constructive execution details

• Project team coordination: professional coordination of sanitary planners, CAD designers and other project participants

• Interdisciplinary specialist coordination: coordination with architects, structural engineers, HVAC planners, electrical planners and executing companies

• Customer and client support: technical advice to clients, principals and project partners on sanitary concepts and execution variants

• Tendering and awarding: participation in specifications, technical specifications, offer comparisons and awarding documents

• Specialist site management sanitary: supervision of assembly and installation work, conducting site inspections and resolving technical execution issues

• Cost and schedule management: preparation and monitoring of project budgets, planning programmes, cost forecasts and project milestones

• Quality assurance and commissioning: checking compliance with standards, execution quality and technical documentation as well as participation in acceptance and commissioning

Qualifications:

• Education: completed further training as a certified technician HF building services, building services engineer FH or comparable technical qualification with a focus on sanitary technology

• Sanitary technical expertise: sound knowledge of drinking water installations, hot water preparation, building drainage and sanitary system planning

• CAD and BIM knowledge: good user knowledge of CAD planning software, preferably Plancal nova, as well as basics in digital 3D and BIM planning

• Planning and project experience: initial or several years of experience in sanitary planning, project coordination or specialist site management; junior project managers with appropriate technical training are also welcome

• Standards and regulations: knowledge of relevant SIA standards, SVGW guidelines and Swiss sanitary installation regulations

• Project management: professional basics in scheduling, cost control, quality assurance and interdisciplinary building services coordination

• Languages: good to very good German skills in spoken and written form for technical project processing and coordination with clients and specialist planners
