We are currently recruiting several nurses (M/F) for temporary assignments in adult and/or paediatric intensive care, to ensure optimal care for patients requiring continuous monitoring and highly specialised care.
These positions offer the opportunity to work in a recognised and demanding hospital environment, in the heart of the canton of Vaud.
Your mission:
- Ensure the care and continuous monitoring of critically ill patients, adults and/or paediatric.
- Perform specialised intensive care technical procedures (mechanical ventilation, monitoring, infusions, resuscitation, etc.).
- Assess the clinical progress of patients and adapt care in collaboration with the medical team.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal and coordinated care.
- Ensure the quality, safety, and traceability of care in accordance with protocols and best practices.
- Support patients and their relatives with kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism.
- Nursing diploma HES / or diploma from a country within the European Community
- Mandatory recognition by the Swiss Red Cross
- Minimum 24 months of experience in acute care such as CHU or CHR, reduced to 12 months if Swiss HES diploma
- Experience in adult and/or paediatric intensive care.
- Specialised training in intensive care is an advantage.
- Mastery of resuscitation techniques and emergency situations.
- Ability to manage emergency situations and prioritise care.
- Rigour, autonomy, and sense of responsibility.
