Introduction

The city of Adliswil is a dynamic city with a high quality of life, which has grown rapidly in recent years. With customer-friendly services, the administration is there for around 20,000 residents.

As preparation for the Information Science BSc degree programme, we offer you the opportunity to complete the internship year required for admission to the course at the Adliswil Regional Library. Therefore, we are looking for an intern from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement

These are your tasks

During the internship, you will get to know the professional everyday life of our lively, attractive and modern regional library and gain insight into the diverse areas of work. The working hours are based on the opening times (including Saturday shifts) of our regional library. 

What we expect from you

Do you have a school-leaving certificate or vocational training with a vocational baccalaureate and are you interested in a university of applied sciences degree in information science? Are you sociable, fascinated by the field of regional libraries and interested in books and new media? Then we look forward to getting to know you!

If interested, a part-time position in the city archive in the area of "cataloguing" can also be taken on.
