Your tasks

Participation as a radiation protection expert and project supervisor in various project-related tasks
Responsible for planning and implementing radiation protection measures within the assigned buildings and facilities
Responsible as a radiation protection expert according to the guidelines of supervisory authorities, ASI-QM and BSS instructions as well as regulations in all control and monitoring areas of the institute
Deployment as radiation protection team leader during maintenance, repair, dismantling and conversion work, clearance measurement of materials and rooms
Preparation of concepts, possibly with the help of simulations, as well as reports and QM documents

Your profile

You have completed training at a university in a technical or a mathematical-natural science subject and are willing to familiarise yourself with a new field
You enjoy assessing complex situations, have a passion for innovations and their implementation into pragmatic, feasible solutions, and ideally already have experience in radiation protection, radiation physics, and measurement technology
You like to work in an environment where your willingness to take responsibility and your communicative and reliable working style come into their own
Theoretical and practical experience with gamma spectrometry as well as other radiation protection instruments is an advantage, and you also have basic programming knowledge
You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written. Mastery of additional languages is a plus
