Your tasks
- Participation as a radiation protection expert and project supervisor in various project-related tasks
- Responsible for planning and implementing radiation protection measures within the assigned buildings and facilities
- Responsible as a radiation protection expert according to the guidelines of supervisory authorities, ASI-QM and BSS instructions as well as regulations in all control and monitoring areas of the institute
- Deployment as radiation protection team leader during maintenance, repair, dismantling and conversion work, clearance measurement of materials and rooms
- Preparation of concepts, possibly with the help of simulations, as well as reports and QM documents
Your profile
- You have completed training at a university in a technical or a mathematical-natural science subject and are willing to familiarise yourself with a new field
- You enjoy assessing complex situations, have a passion for innovations and their implementation into pragmatic, feasible solutions, and ideally already have experience in radiation protection, radiation physics, and measurement technology
- You like to work in an environment where your willingness to take responsibility and your communicative and reliable working style come into their own
- Theoretical and practical experience with gamma spectrometry as well as other radiation protection instruments is an advantage, and you also have basic programming knowledge
- You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written. Mastery of additional languages is a plus
