The Financial Control is the supreme specialist body for financial supervision in Liechtenstein and carries out its activities independently and autonomously in accordance with the Financial Control Act. It supports both the Parliament and the Audit Committee in their oversight of public financial management and contributes to ensuring that the administration uses financial resources legally, economically, and effectively.

Job Description
You feel at home in the following areas of activity:
- Management and further development of Financial Control with its 7 employees
- Representation of Financial Control in Parliament, towards the media, and in specialist committees
- Responsibility for the creation and implementation of the audit programme, including audits commissioned by the Audit Committee and the Government
- Financial supervision in all facets such as final audits, efficiency audits, and topics of digitalisation and ICT
Qualifications
You are particularly characterised for this position by:
- University degree and/or qualification as a Swiss Certified Public Accountant
- Several years of professional experience in auditing and solid leadership experience
- High integrity, objectivity, independence, and discretion
- Resilient and assertive personality with pronounced analytical and interconnected thinking skills
- Confident demeanour, diplomatic skill, as well as strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Excellent editorial skills and audience-appropriate expression
- Good sense for political contexts and sensitive governance issues
- Very good English skills for participation in international specialist committees
