Official Specialist Assistant / Official Specialist Assistant Dept. Animal Protection / Problematic Dogs

• Varied and responsible role in official animal protection with a direct contribution to animal welfare
• Independent enforcement of animal protection legislation in the assigned businesses and specialist areas
• Diverse field assignments and close collaboration with various stakeholders
• Preparation of reports, orders, and other legal documents as part of a modern enforcement authority
• Participation in other exciting areas of the veterinary service and the opportunity to apply, deepen, and further develop your expertise

• Completed basic education related to animal husbandry (agricultural worker with federal certificate) or in enforcement service (police officer with federal certificate)
• Certificate of competence as official specialist assistant animal protection / primary production / meat or willingness to obtain it
• Professional experience in the enforcement of one or more areas of veterinary services
• Practical experience in handling farm and domestic animals is an advantage
• Analytical and interconnected thinking
• High resilience, flexibility, assertiveness, and strong communication skills
• Driving licence category B and availability of a private vehicle
