To strengthen our Legal Team, we are looking for a lawyer with solid knowledge and several years of practical experience in financial market law. In this versatile role, you will provide our clients with comprehensive and practical advice on regulatory issues – especially regarding anti-money laundering law (AML) as well as FIDLEG and FINIG. You will accompany and advise financial institutions throughout their entire lifecycle, conduct licensing and amendment procedures, and maintain active communication with FINMA. Furthermore, you will advise clients at the interface with SwissComply AG, combining legal expertise with real, implementation-based solutions in the areas of compliance and risk management.

What you bring:

• Master’s degree in law from a Swiss university

• Several years of experience in financial market law, preferably as in-house legal counsel at a financial institution (e.g. bank, fund management company, securities firm or asset manager) or at a consulting service provider

• Ideally also experience in compliance and AML

• Knowledge and practical experience with FINMA licensing procedures

• Independent, solution-oriented working style with enjoyment of responsibility

• Proactive approach in daily client business

• Resilient team player with good communication skills

• Decisiveness and assertiveness

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
