Team Leader Sterile Filling (Filling Line II) - Night Shift

To manage planned capacity increases, a permanent night shift (Monday to Friday, 11:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.) is currently being established, in the development and establishment of which you will actively participate. The start of this night shift will take place after a thorough training phase of about 12 months in the existing shift model (2-shift operation, Monday to Sunday, 5:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.).

In this position, you report directly to the head of the filling line. You take on the professional and personnel responsibility for a team of several employees. As part of your activity, you carry out manufacturing processes on a routine system for filling sterile medicinal products.

You are responsible for the high-quality, timely, and quantitative implementation of production orders under strict compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards.

Your tasks essentially include:

• Leading the night shift including handing over relevant information to the early shift

• Professional and personnel management of a team of about 10 employees as well as coordination of daily tasks

• Creation and implementation of personnel planning

• Promotion and further development of employees

• Recruitment and training of new team members

• Setting clear goals, promoting teamwork, and creating a responsible working environment

• Monitoring the entire filling line in routine production, coordinating with relevant interfaces, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions

• Active participation in the production process within a production zone and the cleanroom as well as professional support of the team, especially in:

• Operation and monitoring of production equipment

• Performing format changes

• Conducting material incoming inspections, line clearances, and in-process controls

• Performing general order and cleaning tasks

• Complete documentation of all performed work including in electronic systems

• Compliance with all relevant work regulations, SOPs, and GMP guidelines

• Role model function regarding compliance with all guidelines for good manufacturing practice (GMP), hygiene, safety, as well as environmental and health protection

• Preparation and support during internal and external inspections

• Technical contact person for your own area of responsibility

• Proactive participation in projects for process optimization

Qualifications & Professional Experience:

• Willingness to work permanent night shifts

• Completed vocational training in the pharmaceutical or food technology field or several years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry

• Solid experience in handling complex production equipment, ideally in sterile filling

• Proven experience in professional and personnel leadership of employees

• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style with high quality awareness in a GMP-regulated environment

• Strong technical understanding

• High social competence, teamwork skills, resilience, and reliability

• Very good PC skills

• Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written
