For Novasina AG, we are immediately or by arrangement seeking an experienced, committed and motivated leader as Head of Operations 100%.

Novasina AG has been developing, producing and distributing precise sensors and measuring instruments for humidity, temperature and differential pressure measurement as well as solutions for determining water activity in development, production and quality assurance for over 60 years.

Your tasks:

• Overall responsibility for the order-to-delivery process (order management, scheduling, production, purchasing, logistics and shipping)
• Direct disciplinary leadership of 13 employees with varying workloads
• Ensuring product availability with a make-to-stock focus
• Leading and further developing the entire operations team with 13 employees
• Building and developing clear structures, roles and processes
• Planning and controlling production including capacity and material planning
• Close integration of order management, planning and production
• Responsibility for delivery performance and throughput times
• Developing and implementing efficient and scalable processes
• Co-designing production concepts
• Building an integrated supply chain understanding across all functions
• Identifying and implementing optimisation potential in operational excellence
• Ensuring a functioning team dynamic across all areas
• Further developing employees and promoting clear and constructive collaboration

Your profile:

• Several years of solid experience (at least 5–10 years) in a comparable operations role along the entire supply chain
• Knowledge of operational excellence, lean or six sigma is an advantage
• Strong understanding of make-to-stock and production planning
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational implementation
• Experience in building and optimising processes
• Experience in developing production concepts for new products
• Assertive and clear communication
• Team-oriented, structured and pragmatic personality
• Strong hands-on mentality, self-responsibility and ownership
• Leadership personality who leads beyond the team, involves employees and implements changes together
