To complement our Bus & Trolley division, we are looking for a dynamic leader in materials management for the team in production planning as Head of Production Planning.

As Head of Production Planning, you and your team will take on important planning, control and monitoring tasks for the production of our innovative and high-quality electric and trolleybuses. Take on the challenge as an important link between our development and production and become part of the HESS family!

Your Tasks

• Organisational, technical and personnel management of our production planning team
  including personnel planning (6 employees)
• Overall responsibility for operational activities in AVOR
• Coordination of all AVOR activities for all BUS assembly locations
• Responsibility for the timely and quantity-appropriate scheduling of all production orders
• Monitoring target vs. actual order times, as well as allocation of corrective measures
• Organisation, implementation and monitoring of material disposition
• Close cooperation with sales, project management, development and purchasing
• Preparation of make-or-buy analyses in close cooperation with strategic purchasing
• Efficient processing of production orders (checking, deregistering, closing production orders)
• Additional tasks such as master data maintenance, item changes, preliminary costing and development of key figures
• Supportive participation in cross-departmental projects

Our Requirements

• Completed technical basic training
• Further training as a process specialist FA / technician HF
• Proven AVOR experience in a production company
• Leadership experience in a comparable function
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Resilience and team spirit
• Willingness to learn new things
