Senior Physician Cardiology

• Independent inpatient and outpatient care of patients with cardiological diseases
• Independent execution, assessment and supervision of non-invasive cardiological functional diagnostics (including TTE, TEE, spiroergometry, pacemaker and ICD checks as well as long-term measurements)
• Consultative co-care and specialist advice for other departments on cardiological issues
• Professional leadership, supervision and structured training of assigned assistant physicians
• Active participation in the senior medical tasks of the Cardiology department as well as close interdisciplinary collaboration within the entire Clinic for Internal Medicine

Become part of the Clinic for Internal Medicine, which annually cares for over 3,300 inpatients and more than 450 patients in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit. The clinic also includes the interdisciplinary emergency centre with over 20,000 emergencies. The specialties of gastroenterology, cardiology, pneumology, endocrinology/diabetology, oncology, infectiology, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, acute geriatrics and palliative medicine are represented by senior physicians both inpatient and in the medical outpatient clinic. Thus, our clinic is a central service centre of Zollikerberg Hospital.

This is how you convince us:

• Swiss Federal Specialist Certificate (FMH) in Cardiology and ideally in General Internal Medicine (or an equivalent MEBEKO qualification recognised in Switzerland)
• Great enthusiasm for patient-oriented, evidence-based and high-quality medicine
• Sound knowledge and clinical experience in the entire non-invasive cardiological diagnostics (additional focuses or supplementary qualifications are welcome)
• High commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration as well as to the training and promotion of assistant physicians
