Review and assessment of a wide range of credit-related risks in international trade finance transactions
Underwriting of individual risk coverages in the area of global credit risks (trade finance)
Negotiation, adjustment, and review of the design of insurance contracts as well as the underlying premium with brokers and clients
Continuous development of the business area for individual risk coverages (processes, product offerings, credit analysis tools, industry analyses, pricing, etc.)
Preparation of market analyses and forecasts for various industries, countries, and macroeconomic developments
Management of the existing client portfolio and development of new client relationships
Client and broker visits together with the Key Account Manager
Daily exchange with internal and external clients

Your Skills and Talents

University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Banking & Finance
5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role in credit insurance, commodity trade finance, or export finance
Excellent financial analysis and risk assessment skills
Knowledge of trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, bonds & guarantees, shipping documents, security instruments
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Positive solution-oriented personality with high self-initiative
Persistence and good negotiation skills combined with strong customer orientation
Outgoing and open personality with a very detail-oriented, reliable, and independent working style
Fluent German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage
Experience in an international and multicultural working environment
Willingness to travel occasionally
