To strengthen our Real Estate and Building Construction department, we are creating an additional project management position. As the internal client representative of the municipality, you will lead municipal building construction projects and work closely with users, operations, planners, and decision-makers.

You can expect a long-term investment programme with significant construction projects in the double-digit million range. Your projects create spaces for education, care, safety, and public life – thereby making a direct contribution to the quality of life and the common good in Steinhausen, right in the canton of Zug.

Your tasks

• Client representation for new build and renovation projects across all project phases, including management of quality, costs, and deadlines
• Leading interdisciplinary project teams and coordinating the requirements of clients, users, and operations with owner interests and project goals
• Preparation and execution of competitions, planner procurement, and award procedures according to public procurement law
• Preparation of project reports, decision-making bases, and applications
• Participation in investment planning and further development of standards and processes

Your profile

• Tertiary qualification (FH, ETH, HF or equivalent) in architecture, construction planning, civil engineering, or a related construction-technical field
• Several years of experience in client representation or overall project management of larger building construction projects; experience in the public sector is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of construction project management and contract law; knowledge of public procurement is an advantage
• Assertiveness, negotiation skills, as well as an independent, structured working style and audience-appropriate communication
